On March 1, national railways transported 16.607 million passengers, marking the 10th consecutive day with daily passenger volume exceeding 15 million. Transportation operations remained safe, stable and orderly. As of 8:00 on March 2, the Railway 12306 ticketing system had cumulatively sold 419 million train tickets during the Spring Festival travel rush. Passenger flows of workers, students and family visits have overlapped, keeping overall demand at a high level.
