Intangible Cultural Heritage Enters Train Carriages,
Bringing Festive Atmosphere to the Journey
On February 23, the seventh day of the first lunar month, a unique "mobile festive experience" took place on Train K866 from Yuncheng in Shanxi province to Qinhuangdao in Hebei province, bringing comfort to passengers returning home.
To make the journey warmer and relieve travel fatigue, the train crew carefully organized a series of "Intangible Cultural Heritage Accompanying the Journey Home" activities, introducing Shanxi's intangible cultural heritage into the train carriages. Inside the train, traditional paper-cut window decorations were displayed, with vivid zodiac patterns crafted from red paper creating a festive atmosphere. Passengers could not only appreciate the art up close but also try making their own "Fu" character paper-cuts, bringing warmth from the journey back home.
